At Circuit Cycle, we are committed to educating the public about the dangers of improper e-waste disposal and advocating for safer, more sustainable alternatives. We believe in leading by example — taking actionable steps to reduce e-waste in our local communities and to protect the environment, especially from the neurotoxins that can seep into our landscapes when electronics are improperly disposed of.
We aim to prevent harmful toxins from entering Florida’s ecosystem by promoting safe e-waste disposal methods and raising awareness about the health and environmental risks posed by improper recycling. Our work is focused on protecting both public health and the environment, starting with the city of West Palm Beach.
Circuit Cycle organizes community outreach events to spark change and inspire residents of West Palm Beach to take e-waste seriously. Our current initiatives include:
We also have ongoing efforts to raise awareness through social media campaigns and community partnerships, furthering our mission and building momentum for change.
Circuit Cycle is proud to be supported by a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies as part of the Youth Climate Action Fund via the city of West Palm Beach, which has provided us with the financial resources to launch our initiatives. We operate on an allocated budget, reallocating our funds to community events, marketing, and daily operations, and ensuring that every dollar spent goes towards promoting our mission and fostering change.
Looking ahead, we aim to continue expanding our efforts in West Palm Beach and the wider South Florida area while we continue exploring opportunities to advocate for more convenient and sustainable e-waste disposal methods within the city. We hope to raise awareness on a larger scale through additional campaigns, partnerships, and advocacy for policy changes in the ease and accessibility of waste management.
